Welcome...

The Kern County Prosecutors Association is a professional association made up of the deputy district attorneys within the Kern County District Attorneys’ Office and the Department of Child Support Services. Our mission is to advance the professional goals of the members and to serve as spokespersons on criminal justice issues within our community. Our motto – “seeking justice for all” – is a manifestation of our collective desire to ensure justice for all of the People of Kern County.

The Kern County Prosecutors Association was established by resolution of the Kern County Board of Supervisors on January 26, 1993, to serve as the recognized entity to represent the permanent, non-management attorneys employed by the Kern County District Attorneys Office. Its twin purposes are to advance the professional development of its members and to provide a leadership role in criminal justice issues for the community. Since1993, the KCPA has worked with dozens of agencies and non-profit organizations to address the underlying problems that contribute to crime within our community, including gangs, drugs, sexual offenders, domestic violence and elder abuse.
